Hi all, This morning I did some much needed care on my Chinese money plant. It kept dropping lowest leaves so I checked the roots for rot. They were all happy but the soil was solid between the roots. I cleaned it out and put fresh soil with a little cactus mix in for extra aeration in the soil. After doing this though, I’ve got some immediate drooping leaves. Has anyone experienced this?

Did you water after repotting/doing the much needed care? If not that might be why, otherwise it may be shock

Shock might make sense. I didn’t water it because I had rinsed the roots clean on the extremely hard dirt between the roots that was also really well and not drying out. I noticed it and wanted to take care of it before it became a problem and caused root rot

Mine looks like this. The soil was way to wet so I removed and let the soil dry some. Plant still looks the same so I guess I have to change the soil

Lightly water it once, mine was like that after a repot/root rinse too. Was fine a day later
