This lady has really enjoyed this short shady spot by the pool… but if you look close.. her little friends have rooted down in the pine straw. What should I do? Leave her alone or prop those babies into new plants? She’s so happy here. 🙂🪴

Airplane plants grow extremely fast so if you don’t plan on having a whole field of them I suggest you pull the little baby ones out of the ground while you can and hang the whole thing a lot higher up so they can’t touch the ground and root!:))

I’ve always heard them called spider plants. I love “airplane plant” though. Thanks for the advice. I actually love the idea of her growing in the ground but I do t think she would survive my climate. Near Atlanta Ga!

Yes!! We’ve always called them airplane plants specifically bc u have to hang them up high or they will take over the yard!!😂

Or you could 100% propagate the little ones I just know you’ll end up with a million soon if you do that🤣

I would just let them be happy while the weather is nice and then pot them up for winter. It could also be a great time to pot them up and give them away as Christmas presents 😂😅
