Anyone have any advice or specific care they do for a plant they just got? I just got this guy and plan on moving him up to my room at some point with my other plants, but I don't want to risk spreading something or shock him, what can I do for him in the mean time to make him happy? He was repotted at the store just before I got him, and put on a support beam. I have superthrive too, should I water it with that to prevent transplant shock?

i quarantine plants for a month or so, to prevent pest transfer if i do end up accidentally bringing pests home. some people pre-treat new plants with neem oil or insecticidal soap (i use dr bronners castile soap) or both. i would also recommend waiting a few months to fertilize, it may have been fertilized recently and there may be slow release fertilizer in the soil. if i’m right superthrive doesn’t actually have the standard three macronutrients but essential vitamins, so adding some to its first watering might help it transition
