Hi, I’ve posted a few times about this plant before but EVERY time there is new growth, one leaf dies. They have all turned pink/orange and then become dead, this is the third or fourth leaf that’s done it. People said it was sunburned, so I constantly rotate the plant now and mostly keep it in bright shade. What am I doing wrong? I can’t seem to retain any leaf, even though new ones are growing. You can click on the plant to see photos from previous months. Thanks in advance 🫶🏻

It’s not getting enough of something. Could be fertilizer or water

Fertilizer very well may be the issue. It could be taking so much energy to make a new leaf that it’s having to absorb nutrients from older leaves

Yep then it’s likely the fertilizer. It doesn’t have enough nutrients to build a new leaf so it takes them from an older leaf by killing it off. You can end that cycle by adding fertilizer

Ah ok! I’ll see what might be a good fertilizer then. Thank you so much, always worth a try!

Ok! I’ve never used fertilizer on my plants (small New York apt) but I’d love to keep them from dying so I’ll look into it, thank you!

Look at “liquid plant food” usually liquidized fert is easier to work with indoors

It a very high humidity plant. Srpay the leaves weekly. And look for ways to increase humidity
