Hello! I recently repotted my spider plant about a month ago! At first it was not doing very well adjusting. But now it’s roots have shot down extremely fast! I can see it through the clear cup whenever I water. And whenever I do water the soil goes dry in about 2 weeks. I was wondering if that is because of the roots growing so long or something with the soil. It is in a catus and soil mix, by a/c that is sometimes on, and gets 6+ hours of west facing sunlight! Thank you in advance ❤️

Cactus soil is meant to be dry because they can go almost all month if not all month without watering. Probably why soils is going fry so fast. The a/c windy also something that can dry it out. Depending on how close it is to the window the heat from the sun can cause dryness.

Oh ok! Thank you! Do I water it when it is dry? Or do I wait longer?
