any tips for an african violet? this is the first one i have. i repotted it with potting soil and perlite. in the third pic i’m showing where i cut the stem down to, as it was broken when i got it. will this grow back? TYIA 🫶🏻🍃

    They like bright indirect light. And I have all of mine in a self watering pot. I use the Schultz fertilizer for African Violets. I also use the rePotme African violet soil. Both you can get on Amazon. They love the soil. I fertilize every other watering. I use filtered water not city. They hate city. It wont grow back. It will eventually die off. If it likes it in its environment it will just start growing. Don’t be alarmed if the blooms die they come back as well. They will get bushy. You can see mine on my profile it’s not private.

    Try to bottom water only as these plants have very sensitive leaves that are prone to rot when water is on them. She’s beautiful though 😭

      Main reason why I recommended the self watering pot or African violet pot with these to eliminate that problem.
