Oh my god I just got a air plant expecting it to be pretty easy to take care of I mean I doesn’t have roots how hard can it be right but I just found out that this little diva needs to soak in water for 30 minutes and dry FOR THREE HOURS like I’m into plants so it’s not that big of a deal but it’s the hardest plant to take care of 😭😭😭

I find them easy. No repotting, no root rot, no insects. soak em, give ‘em sun, they’ll be happy

These are actually some of my easiest plants to care for the only downside is how fragile they are at times

its easy for me, i dont have to worry about them. just stick them in a container of water, set a timer like im cooking and then leave them out to dry and then remember suddenly five hours later to put them back.

Teak- I don’t soak mine, I have a spray bottle and spray the root patch at least once a week and my collection is fine!

It essentially is the same as bottom watering for this particular plant it allows it to get as much as it wants then when letting it dry it allows it to expel water and help keep it from developing rot which these plants are sensitive to it just ensures the plant gets what it wants

Well I feel like soaking it makes the foliage rot so…spraying can’t be bad
