So this sweet little alocasia was nothing but soil all winter. I watered it lightly and kept it in a warm place. I put it outside when the weather became warm enough and this is what it did. Yay! I just brought it in the house because nights are getting chilly. So what do I do with it now? I’ve never had one survive before.

Good on you for bringing it inside if it’s getting any lower than about 60°. 55° or below will cause it to go into dormancy (drop all of its leaves). So just keep it indoors, but they do need a good amount of bright, indirect light, so put it in a place that has high light or give it a grow light. Allow the soil medium to dry out at least 50 to 60% before watering again. They like a very airy chunky soil mix for aroids.

Thanks. Will it go dormant again?
