I bought this large Banyan Audrey Ficas with four stems from a friend and am looking for some advice on if the Planta care schedule for it is correct and if I should repot it. The planta care schedule has it being watered or fertilized every 7/8 days. This is on trend with the former owners care schedule, who would water it once a week. As you can also see, this guy is rooting from its lower stems and it’s also grown outside of its plastic pot. If I repot I’m worried about damaging it, and it’s so healthy with its current living situation. Lastly, it has four stems and I wonder whether I should separate the plants and let them grow solo? It’s nice having all four together but is it crowded? Would love some tips if anyone has any! Thank you thank you 🙏

Woah, repotting those babies is going to be a feat. I think it’s necessary though, based on the roots coming out of the bottom. You’re definitely going to need a second person to help hold the plant. I would cut the plastic pot right off with heavy duty scissors or a box cutter. You might not be able to separate them without cutting a lot of roots if they’re as root bound as it looks. That’s about as much advice as I have, maybe someone with more potted tree experience will pitch in. Good luck!

You can keep them together but definitely repot it. The other post had good advice. Try to keep as much of the roots as possible.
