This is my third attempt at keeping an Ivy alive after losing my first two. Does anybody have any tips? 😅

I have managed to keep mine alive in water (I use liquid plant fertilizer too). It’s so pretty!

Ivy is one of the few “house” plants that prefer Alkaline water, which means a Ph level of 7 or above (as opposed to Acidic). Other tip… grow it outside on a covered patio.

these guys are very sensitive to drought, you can tell you’re under watering if the new leaves are turning crispy. before watering i check that the soil is completely dry on top but still a little moist underneath. they also don’t need as much fertilizer as your average plant in my experience, they grow fast pretty much regardless. i have hedera helix ‘eva’ growing like wild in a northeast window

I have an English Ivy wreath. I mist it everyday. I think that is really important.
