My Hoya/Hindu rope plant leaves are starting to get soft and wrinkly then turn yellow and fall off. Am I overwatering?

I think that those are signs of under watering, although I may be wrong, so I suggest a little but if research ;)

Initially it looks like under-watering, but if you’ve been watering frequently I would check for root rot. It seems like the leaves aren’t taking up moister as they should be

Yes I second this! If the roots are rotted they won’t take in water and it’ll wrinkle. Plus yellowing leaves always happens to me when I overwater and don’t give enough Sun.
