Hello there my string of pearls or string of tears has been acting up on me so I decided to propagate it does this method work?

    It is known to work. It takes patience and don’t get mad if some rot. (This works for string of pearls and tears)

      Make sure to keep them in a greenhouse climate

    It can work, but it very hard to get them to root with only the beads. You will have a lot more success with a little bit of the stem. Also, string of tears grows faster so it’s easier to propagate

    Honestly a stem with a few pearls is more likely to succeed

      Ya but I kinda had no choice it was dying :( some of the that had nodes I put in water ? Hopefully that works

      It should I just don’t know how well it can photosynthesize with little to no pearls. I’m considering restarting mine. The store drowned it so much that it’s been wet on my meter for like weeks now.

      Aw man what the heck I hate when they do that u should check if they put a sponge around the roots they do that sometimes and it drowns the roots

      I might have to do a repot and plant rescue if it continues I’m almost out the clear I’m hoping it will resolve on its own then I’m gonna hit it with a grow light 💡
