Should I separate these two Alocasia silver dragons into different pots? They both just put out new leaves and I’m worried about the pot getting crowded.

Alocasia like to be snug in their pots so no need to worry about them being crowded. But you can divide them if you so prefer. Just make sure to choose an appropriate size pot per root system.

You could opt to choose a more boat shaped container/vessel as an option to keep them together in same pot but visually give them some space from each other. Just separate, then pot side-by-side with a few inches of space between the two root balls in a longer boat shaped or rectangular type pot. Try not to increase the actual amount of soil, or overall size of pot, but rather just how the shape is defined, if that makes sense.

I should add if I get a new pot it would be another 4” pot. It’s already in a 4” pot I’d just get a second one to separate them out
