To rotate or not to rotate? I have several plants in a brick atrium with a two story window on the south side. I have a money tree, rubber fig, and monstera in this space. Should I rotate them so they grow evenly? Or allow them to reach and be very actively growing towards the light? Thanks for your help!

I think it’s best if they get rotated so that they stay balanced in the pot. Never occurred to me until now, but I wonder if when a plant reaches for a really long time if it could imbalance their root growth in effort to keep them anchored…hmm But Planta recommends it so that all leaves can get a turn to be nourished by light

I love this look! I would definitely rotate all. I think as your monstera gets bigger, you may decide weather or not to divide and clearly establish a back side to which a rotation won’t necessarily matter. Of course that all depends on the aesthetic you’re looking for.

I actually can’t believe how much the monstera has grown just in the week I’ve had it. She’s gonna be a beast!
