I just bought my first bottle of neem oil and haven’t used it yet. For leaf cleaning, do you use it straight or dilute it?

It depends on what you bought. Concentrates need diluting with water. Check the label. I just saw a woman yesterday create a mix of concentrated neem oil, peppermint essential oil, Dr Bronzer’s Liquid soap, and water. I don’t really like the smell of neem oil, so I think I’m going to try this when my bottle runs out. I know a lot of people create bug spray with peppermint essential oil.

My Grandma used milk on her rubber plant and now, so do I!

I’m honestly not sure what best thing is, but I’m curious too. I’ve heard that the milk thing amongst other leaf shine products can be not so great for your plants by clogging there pores making it harder for them to photosynthesize. Just just research that method before doing it.
