This is happening to my Calathea too and I am thinking it has something to do with the leaves about ready to give?

exitJiraffeThis happened to mine, I think it’s under-watering in my case. If it’s wet feeling, then I’d check the roots.

Agreed. I did recently place it under a grow light but the topmost leaves aren’t burned
