Sarah

had a plant oops. I put my air plant in water submerged before work, with full intent to remove her after 15 minutes. I walked out the door and 12 hours later realized that she was still in the bowl of water. Am I going to kill her? I have her upside down under a grow light now. Hoping for the best.

she should be okay!! i’ve left mine for 12 hours before, at a certain point they just stop absorbing the water. if you have any tips on how to keep them as green as yours is, i’d love to hear!! mine always crisp up :(

It should be fine! It just got a thorough watering! Overwatering is if you would submerge it again and again for a few days straight.

It should be okay. One time I straight up left one in water at the office for the weekend by accident. That one did not make it 🥲 But if that picture is after the 12 hours, you should be fine. Mine had turned soft and started to brown already by the time I found it
