My poor fiddle leaf fig tree has been shedding its leaves almost everyday for the past few weeks. Anyone have any suggestions on how to save it?

I’ve had it for about 3 months. I will try moving the location to see if this helps. Thank you so much 💗

Just to clarify, pretty sure it needs bright indirect light. Not direct sun. You could burn the leaves by putting in direct sun. More bright light yes, they like lots and lots. Just not direct all day. A partial few hours of morning dappled direct sun ok. At least thats what I understand about them. There is always acclimation process too tho. Also you may want to airate the soil a bit, if it feels quite moist and dense. It may be not getting enough oxygen in its roots if it was previously in a nursery setting with lots of air flow.

Oh no! It looks like it needs more light. My FLF is in a south window about 1-2 feet away from the window. I turn it every other week or so. The best advise I received was find a good place and leave it be.

Thank you both!! I will try this 🤍 hoping it doesn’t die completely on me 🤞

I would try moving the couch to were your FLF is, and placing the tree on the corner next to the window. They like to be next to light, but not directly hit by the sun. Also check the pot for root bound or overly dense soil.
