Is there any Hope? We have this Ivy at work and it’s leaves are all dried out. It had been over watered; had standing water in the bottom and no drain holes, but the roots actually seem pretty decent. Do you think if we cut it down to the soil that the roots may flourish and give new life once we get the soil dried out some more?

As long as you see green, there is hope. I would trim all the dried foliage and give it a fresh start.

ALL the foliage is dry. The green you see is at the end of an otherwise dried out branch. There are two like that.

I would say remove the dried stuff carefully from those two branches and let them be. Remove all the other dried/dead foliage and give it a chance.
