Angellina

Just rescued this guy from Walmart yesterday. He had a bunch of dead strands i had to pull out, pretty sure he hadn’t been watered in awhile☹️ Any advice is very much needed and appreciated! I’m good with foliage but I’m not so sure about succulents 🤣

It need a lot of light. You might need to supplement with a grow light if you are keeping indoors. Also, make sure your soil is very chunky: at least half of it should be drainage material like pumice, perlite, decomposed granite, etc. They usually come in very dense soil and tend to rot on me if I don’t repot as soon as I buy them.

Great, thank you so much! Some of his strands look like their roots are about to come out of the soil so I’ll definitely be repotting soon!

String of Bananas!! I let mine dry out completely before watering, make sure it has a drainage hole for excess water to escape. I also fertilize it every time I water. I have mine hanging in a west facing window, but it also gets some indirect light from my east facing covered porch.

It really only gets direct light from the late afternoon sun but bright indirect light all day. It also seems to grow towards the light so I’m constantly rotating it. I fertilize using Foliage Pro every time I water. I just add the measured amount to my pump sprayer and go to town.
