This feels like a baby announcement!! I picked up this little lemon tree this spring at home depot. Growing a lemon tree in Montana is a novelty but I was in love. I was hoping another tree would go on sale at Home Depot but they have just let them die. I have felt like I have been mourning them and mad at Home Depot. So I did some googling and nurtured my little tree in hope for the best. Knowing it would be a long time before I got a lemon. But this morning while watering I noticed. Buds!!!!!!! Any other tree fans in here?

    Yay! Congrats! I too grew a lemon tree! …from a tiny baby cutting of my friends tree. It grew so fast! Started about maybe 7-8 years ago. Its now almost 2 stories high! It took over where i put it and grew giant roots through the plastic pot and into the ground. Oopsie! Its a giant now! (I rent). 🤭 They grow fast once going. Do you have to overwinter citrus where you live?

      Yikes. I do have to bring it in during the winter. I think it is a mini Meyet though so hopefully it doesnt take over my life 😂
