I’m so confused with this guy! Leaves are huge and look great, but stems are black and drooping…? Any ideas. Yes to drainage holes, lives under grow light. New to collection and has new growth. Seems otherwise healthy except for those drooping darker stems

They could just be broken stems

One does look bent or broken doesn’t it! It’s been untouched, so odd! Thanks!

I believe (just my experience, so not sure if this is just in the nature of caladiums, or my environment) that caladiums are kind of like Alocasia, where they don’t keep their leaves for long. Could be a higher fertilizer need, but for me each corm only holds 3-4 leaves and one is on the way out by the time the newest one is big and beautiful.
