There’s an aerial root growing upwards from my my Monstera. Should I leave it alone, or do I cut that since it’s not going to get any water up in the air anyways.

I just got validation from your post bc my monstera started sprouting aerial roots and I thought I was doing something wrong, congrats. 🌱

you can just leave it or if you can get it to grow back toward the soil your monstera will have more support
1 likeRedirect it back into the soil. Or better still, add a thiccly moss pole and feed the aerial roots into the pole :) Either of these options will expand your plants root system and lead to a stronger, healthier plant with larger leaves :)

Give it something to grow into

I think your monstera is trying to support itself, since it’s leaning far forward (it’s a vining plant after all). A moss pole, a plank, or something behind it will help it and will give it the support it needs to keep growing. : )
