There’s an aerial root growing upwards from my my Monstera. Should I leave it alone, or do I cut that since it’s not going to get any water up in the air anyways.

I just got validation from your post bc my monstera started sprouting aerial roots and I thought I was doing something wrong, congrats. 🌱

you can just leave it or if you can get it to grow back toward the soil your monstera will have more support

Redirect it back into the soil. Or better still, add a thiccly moss pole and feed the aerial roots into the pole :) Either of these options will expand your plants root system and lead to a stronger, healthier plant with larger leaves :)

Give it something to grow into

I think your monstera is trying to support itself, since it’s leaning far forward (it’s a vining plant after all). A moss pole, a plank, or something behind it will help it and will give it the support it needs to keep growing. : )
