I planted a black magic elephant Ear. I really hope it plants. I want it to be just as big or bigger than Babar.

      It’s a caladium. Thank you! No making was just planted. He is still under the soil lol

      I will. That one is 20 inches wide and up to my bottom thigh. I scared to repot him though lol

      Yeah I would be too. That’s actually why I mentioned getting a pot in the fall for next season. It’ll be fine when it’s dormant but I think you got this.

      So do I have to cut the leaves off? I might cry.

      Lol eventually it has to go to sleep. But not for a while yet. Just start with the lower older leaves when they start to fade out. Better for it to spend energy on new growth. Once those bottom guys start to turn yellow and dry just chop it off at the base. You can tell when it starts to lose it’s vigor even when you’re doing everything right. If it has babies you might have to separate when they have there own system. The pot might not be able to support them all.
