Who else is growing or is familiar with pandan/screw pine? Is it normal to send roots down from the stem? This is Amary, with pups!

Yes! They are aerial roots. This is a sign that itâs happy and trying to establish itself. Do you know how big they get?
0 LikesAwesome! No, this is my first time growing them. Amary is almost a foot tall.

Wow, so on Guam they get about 20 feet or so and some people eat the fruit.

I think youâre right. Back home itâs in the ground just growing wherever lol. I think itâs wild that youâre growing and cooking with it. Its giving me a nostalgic feeling âșïž good luck with your tree!
