Hi! I was just wondering whether anyone knows how to plant spider plant babies properly. I’ve got a few spider plants and now they’re having babies, I don’t know what to do. What do you think?

I’ve had great success just snipping them off and placing them in water, they are super easy. You can also do it in soil or your favorite propagation medium. Better to do it once you see the aerial root nubs start to appear on them.

I second Mad Props PDX suggestion to prop in water. Babies fly off my plant all the time. I just pop them in water and pot in soil when they roots are around 2”

One of the easiest plants to propagate! I do the same as both commenters above.

Thanks do much! Sorry but does anyone know how close I should cut them to the baby spider plant?

I’d cut within an inch of the baby
