   I but my anthuriums in water and change every 2 weeks. It’s the only way I’ve gotten new leaves.

   Anthuriums do great in Pon or Leca. This allows for both the moisture and air they need. If that is not up your ally to dive into, put her in an airy chunky aroid mix substrate. That way when you water, you can do so thoroughly the soil won’t hold onto moisture for as long and oxygen can get to roots. Also lack of enough indirect light aids in root rot because the plant isn’t getting enough energy (light) to drink water.

   I have added clay beads to mine. Move it away from the light and only water when the top 1.5 in feels dry.
