Let’s talk about misting, why do you do it? I did an experiment earlier this week showing that it doesn’t meaningfully impact relative humidity. I’ve also seen online that it is essentially a waste of time if you’re intending to increase your humidity. Misting can work to saturate soil or if you’re wanting to wipe your leaves, but not for RH increase it doesn’t seem. What do y’all think? I posted my experiment on instagram @norasindoorjungle if any of y’all want to see it. I’d post it here but it’s a video so I couldn’t figure out how to share a video here. Picture during misting my albo monstera and aurea syngonium.

If I don’t mist my plants they get very depressed and visibly damaged. So I guess it depends on your relative humidity maybe.

^^ same here for me. My catheleas and fittonia were both very crispy round the edges before i started misting. now they haven’t crisped up since!
