Is there any way to keep a Japanese juniper bonsai alive indoors? I currently have mine in a west facing window with the window open and a grow light to give it a couple extra hours of “sun” I see all these things about them having to be outside but was wondering if their was any way to keep them inside? If not what are some bonsai that would do okay inside?

I’m not sure how successful they are indoors but I haven’t had any outdoors either. I had a small juniper bonsai and it was okay for awhile but then started to yellow on the leaves and never came back from that :(

Yeah I read that they show what’s wrong with them 8 weeks after the fact when there’s nothing you can do to save it. If I need to i will gladly take it outside while I’m at school and bring it in once I get back. I just want to know if it’s possible yk

I have no experience with the Juniper bonsai, but I have successfully kept a ginseng ficus bonsai inside for a year now, and it’s thriving

I have a juniper that I keep outside unless it’s going to be freezing for more than 24 hours, and she’s doing well. I’ve wanted to bring her inside, but haven’t found any evidence that she can survive well, so she lives outside. I too have a ginseng ficus that been indoors and is doing great. I’ve actually trimmed and propagated her twice in the past year ☺️

I tried propagating on soil and failed. How do you propagate?
