Is there any way to keep a Japanese juniper bonsai alive indoors? I currently have mine in a west facing window with the window open and a grow light to give it a couple extra hours of āsunā I see all these things about them having to be outside but was wondering if their was any way to keep them inside? If not what are some bonsai that would do okay inside?
Iām not sure how successful they are indoors but I havenāt had any outdoors either. I had a small juniper bonsai and it was okay for awhile but then started to yellow on the leaves and never came back from that :(
1 LikeYeah I read that they show whatās wrong with them 8 weeks after the fact when thereās nothing you can do to save it. If I need to i will gladly take it outside while Iām at school and bring it in once I get back. I just want to know if itās possible yk

I have no experience with the Juniper bonsai, but I have successfully kept a ginseng ficus bonsai inside for a year now, and itās thriving

I have a juniper that I keep outside unless itās going to be freezing for more than 24 hours, and sheās doing well. Iāve wanted to bring her inside, but havenāt found any evidence that she can survive well, so she lives outside. I too have a ginseng ficus that been indoors and is doing great. Iāve actually trimmed and propagated her twice in the past year āŗļø
