   Tell me what you did! I’ve been nursing a rose painted calathea for weeks and we’re getting nowhere.

     Well I have no idea if it’s going to survive haha but I finally just took it out of the pot, cut away all the dead stems and any root rot, wash the roots with diluted hydrogen peroxide, and now have just the roots in water, really really hoping that new growth shoots up. I love calatheas but man are they a challenge to keep happy!

   I brought a calathea vittata from one leaf w roots. I actually left it in soil but put it in a giant ziplock back that I misted to create a night humidity environment.
