Purchase 2 black elephant ears for $10 each, which looked like they were about to die. When I brought them home, the rancid soil made my whole house stick. I got ride of all the old soil, cleaned up the roots, and repotted them. Only 1 week later, 2 new leaves came up. It looked like they were about to die even after I repotted them. But I’m shocked that they are actually growing.
I love to go to the clearance area of the plant center. Most of the time they are either over watered or dry as a bone. I get a good deal and it's fun to nurse them back to health (using planta's help of course). I have an area that is my "plant hospital" where I keep sick plants so they are away from the others (just in case!). There's no better feeling than taking a plant from the hospital and integrating it into the rest of the flock! Well done! 👌👌👌

Nice! Did the same this year for a Purple Elephant Ear. Got it for $12 and two new leaves the past 6 weeks.
