⚠️⚠️Can a LED light substitute a grow light?? I’ve heard some people say that it works the same. I have my carnivorous plants inside and people say I need a grow light if there inside will led work?⚠️⚠️

Rexi just use a sansi bulb for mine id play it safe and just use a grow light

steph*technically* but are sooo weak. Not enough strength to sustain something like a carnivorous plant or anything alive really.

DanikaYes. ANY light, including LED, IS a grow light. There are you tube videos where they did control studies of different kinds of lights and grow lights, and identical plants, and growth and health of all plants essentially exactly the same. Check out House Plant Journal for a super geek look into how different spectrums of light effect plants. LED lights work great. ALL of my “grow-lights” in my house are LED and my plants are happy. “Grow-light” companies just market their lights to make you think you need to buy a specialty bulb. My carnivorous plants are very happy under my LED lights. 🤓

What this attached text basically boils down to, is use WHITE LED, as opposed to color.
