I have a huge Jade plant about 3 foot tall. The stems are thick about 2 inches wide. I tried to pull two stems together and accidentally broke off one stem. I put tot powder on the end of stem and put it back in planter. But I noticed the succulents are starting to wrinkle. Does it mea it needs water or is it dying?

When you say ‘put powder on end of stem and put it back in planter,’ do you mean the whole plant fell out or you put the broken but still rooted stem or the whole plant upended and needed to be put back into pot? I’m guessing that the wrinkled leaves are from shock to the plant but can’t tell if it’s just that.

I broke the stem and put it back in the soil after applying the root powder on the end of stem (no roots)
