I have a feeling this lemon plant is dead but any thoughts on how can I revive it or check if it’s alive?

Stick scratch is the only way to see if it's green and a bit sticky. That means it's holding water so the roots are still alive. Sometimes you have to prune off the dried stuff to get it to put out new leaves. Lemons like more acidic soil. So it could be bummed out that it's soil is too alkaline. They like their soil pH less than 7. You can get soil meters at any garden/plant shop or online. They are a cheap way to trouble shoot if your plant is sad. Most come with a "guide" printed on the packaging which will give you info about certain plants and how they like their soil. If you need to make it more acidic, watering with Epsom salts will help put acid back. You could also sprinkle coffee grounds on the soil and then water it. I hope it comes back for you!! 🤞🤞🤞
