Is a grow light good or bad when curing an overwatered plant? I read that you should move it into the shaded area until it’s healthy again. Why are plants more complicated than children?!?!

Grow light is good. Lack of light can weaken your plants roots, Weak roots can’t drink up the water. This is part of what causes root rot in the first place. The more indirect light, the more the roots can gain strength to absorb excess water.

So should I move it out of the window and JUST use the grow light? It’s a creeping Jenny which supposedly likes full sun.

I would leave it in the window. Just avoid direct sun and high temperatures.
0 LikesThese like full sun outdoors. They’re not typically grown indoors. No indoor conditions will get close to that. If growing indoors, blast with as much light as possible. Overwatering is usually a light issue not a water issue
