So I got a clipping of this lovely plant and it wasn’t a clean cut (ripped off plant) and after a few days looked slimy at the bottom of node… so I chopped off the damaged bottom of node and started fresh (added some plant food to water this time) will she make it?? Why are the leaves doing this? 🥲🥲

The slime is fine on this plant! She’ll sprout roots eventually (8-16 weeks), keep changing out the water regularly & just wait!

I’ve had an aglaonema in a vase of water for 2 years with no fertilizer. It will root eventually!!
