When I got my fiddle fig last year, I loved it and cleaned its leaves till they shined! Not forcefully though, and not recently. My fiddle fig has been dropping its leaves, and I don’t know why!

Have you recently moved it, or started running your AC with a vent nearby? They are notoriously finicky/dramatic, I’ve heard of them dropping leaves for less.

Oh alright. There is a vent right above my fiddle fig and it’s the only giant window in my house that can fit all my plants so I can’t really move it
0 likesYes, they do not like to be moved. Especially if there’s a change to their light, or humidity, or draft, or temperature, or the different plants that will be sharing its space, or the different people it will be around, or the noise level, or the style of music it has to listen to. The fiddleleaf does not adjust well to change of any kind. That is why I do not have one. 😬
