What happened to my Bunny Ear Cactus? It’s been fine for years… and then one day I woke up to it looking Iike this!? 😫

Looks like it needs way more light. The new growth is really elongated. I have one of these and it’s about 6” under a grow light—that’s the only way it’s happy! And it’s still not really that happy lol

Mine has done something similar. It has been doing this for a while now. It lives right under a grow light and gets 12 hours a day.

Severely etiolated. It needs much stronger grow lights.

What do you think would help? Does it need to be closer to the light, or longer light exposure, a different kind of light, or?

Right?! It’s like the bottom nub just decided to drop them in rejection 😂

I think I figured out the problem… I repotted this and put some rocks on top of the soil… and I don’t think it had enough drainage 😣 the bottom OG nub was kinda rotted out and the soil was sopping. 😥
