Thoughts on my croton? I keep her indoors so I know she doesnât get as much light as maybe she would like. I thought the lime coloring was a good thing, but then a friend said the leaves should have more color variation and now Iâm all confused lol Can anyone help?
Iâm pretty sure you will get a combination of solid green leaves and colorful leaves. Looks very healthy and happy so I wouldnât mess with it too much. Maybe a grow light if youâre worried about the amount of sunlight itâs getting

I have a Croton magnificent and I keep it in a north facing window, where it doesnât get a ton of light but I enjoy the leaves on it more than I do the variation of color. It just depends what look you want. If you want more color, place it in a brighter spot.

They also need humidity. Lots of humidity, and sun too!

Crotons are pains! But they do LOVE full sunlight. Mine was in a south facing bay window so direct sunlight. (I had to get rid of it when he got spider mites and didnât feel happy any more with it)

Maybe keep it in the same place as long as itâs doing well, or try to move it a bit every day or two. Iâve read croton are finicky about being moved. Good luck!
