I recently took my orchid out of its soil and put it in water. I came out to do some morning reading and drink my coffee and see these little guys growing in the old orchid soil that I was too lazy to toss out at the time! Could they be little orchid babies or something entirely different? I don’t know what to do with them. Any suggestions?

It’s only it’s second week in there, so idk if it even likes it but it seems happy.

I would be surprised if it was an orchid. Typically the only way to get orchids from seed in cultivation is under very controlled conditions in special media. But nothing wrong with growing them out and proving me a liar 😁

So, when I took my orchid out of its soil, I put the moss on some bird seed. I think it’s a bird seed sprout. šŸ˜…
