Hello, I need some help on how to take care of a plant that’s on a moss pole. I’ve seen videos but all the talk about is watering the moss pole. Am I supposed to also water and fertilizes the part of the plant that’s in the pot.

Pretty sure that you only need to water the moss to keep it moist. The only thing inside the moss pole are aerial roots, so they don’t need fertilization. Just the plant itself (via the soil) not the moss pole.

Yes def water the soil in the pot first and foremost.
1 LikeI have a few moss poles and I only water the poles. It seeps down into the pot and waters the soil too. And I use a plant food in my water with every watering. I don’t think it’s 100% needed to fertilize the pole but fertilizing every time is easier for me to remember. I would just have a really well draining soil because you have to water the poles pretty regularly to keep them from getting crispy, which means your soil also gets watered multiple times a week. So to prevent root rot in the pot you’ll need it to drain well.
