new fig i got about 2-3 days ago, it has been repotted. im very aware of how finicky they are and this ones health seems to be declining? brown edges on leaves. im not sure if its under/overwatered? can someone please help?

    It looks like overwatering to me, I had a similar problem when I first got my fiddle! The first few weeks are super hard to navigate as they adjust to the new environment. I bought a moisture meter and that helped a lot with mine, especially for those bigger plants when it’s hard to feel deep into the soil :)

      ok! i watered it when i got it but i havent watered it since, ill just leave it for now

    Hmm… how wet or dry is the soil right now? If quite dry, could be under-watering. But that pot is huge, so if its holding onto to much moisture for too long (soil wet for longer than a week), def could also be over-watering. If it is over-watered, you might want to remove wet soil from root ball, give it some dry fresh soil, cut off any rot you see, and downsize the pot slightly to fit the size of the roots.

    Is that a air/heater in the corner of the picture I see? If that’s on next to the plant it can be an issue 🫣

    If you’re watering with tapwater, perhaps it has too much salt. Maybe try distilled water.
