I have a kalanchoe that I got a couple weeks ago and it’s still blooming, but a lot of the buds are wilted and the leaves are yellowing, I water it when the soil is dry, I just don’t know what to do, it was a gift from my boyfriend

I have one of these! It’s sitting in a west window, and I only water when the soil is completely dry. I pick the whole plant up out of the pot and check the bottom of the soil to make sure it’s dry

They are succulents and don’t like to be overwatered. I would wait until ALL of the soil is bone dry before watering more!

The yellowing leaves is a sign of either over watering or not enough bright light
