is it time to repot? My monstera deliciosa has a small root peeking out of the drainage holes and one peeking over the top of the pot. I know they like to be a little squished and she’s currently pushing out a new leaf, so I don’t know if I should repot! I’m still a bit new to repotting and knowing when (I’ve had plants for about a year and still am pretty new to this)

How long have you had it and has it ever been given new soil ?

I haven’t reported her since I got her, about… 4-5 months ago? I’m not sure exactly.

You could also take the entire plant out to see the roots. You can actually cut about a 1/3rd off from the bottom of the roots. Repot it and add dirt to replace what was lost. Watch a quick video on YouTube so you can see what I’m talking about and if that’s a good solution for you.
