This guy got leggy so I chopped it. Does anyone know why the new growth is coming in so wonky? Is it a calcium deficiency or underwatering possibly?

A quick google search says too dry which might make sense as the soil looks very chunky.

I am an underwaterer when it comes to peperomia since I have rotted so many 😩

Just move it to terracotta. Then you don’t have to worry about overwatering so much. Or keep your chunky soil and just make sure you’ve got good drainage. They like to be a little moist.

I didn’t know they like to be moist. Thank you so much!

Not overly moist though lol. The easiest way with them really is if the leaves are soft and you can fold them easily it’s time to water, if they are a bit firm no water.
