This is a a variegated ivy aka English ivy plant. I’ve had it for about a month. I water it about once a week like recommended. However each week more leaves keep dying and getting “crispy”. The app wanted me to water it again today but the soil is still wet so I skipped the watering. Idk if I’m over watering it or if the sun is burning the leaves? It sits in a window facing north so it doesn’t really receive any direct light. Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated! Thank you

I don’t have too much plant knowledge but I would guess it’s from too much sun! That is what it has been for me in the past. Google also says it’s possible that it’s not getting enough humidity

I have the same thing happening! Mine is a month old and faces the North, so no direct light either. I will maybe try moving it and see if that does anything.

I’ve personally found my ivy to be needier than once a week for watering. When I go too long in between I notice leaves fall off. Maybe try upping your watering schedule a bit.

I bet it’s getting too much light. I would move farther from the window. Mine does best 6 feet from a low light window w no direct light.

Ivy can be difficult to keep alive inside. Mine lives in water and is very happy!
