I recently got this pilea and it’s repotted but leaves keep turning yellow and shriveling up. What should I do?

Might be underwatering, overwatering, root rot, or just a few dead leaves. How often and how much do you water?

I’ve been watering it when the app tells me. I did repot it though. Apparently it was just sitting in water, that pots drains weren’t working well
0 LikesI only use this app as a guide. I always just check the soil when planta tells me to water and usually wait if the soil feels moist. My pilea surprised me when it started to thrive when I completely forgot to water at all. I wait until the soil is completely dry to water again.

Also, the app isn’t ALWAYS correct. I have an aloe vera, and i water it every 21 days, as opposed to what the app tells me, every 15. When I use to water it every 15, although it has lots of drainage and a fast draining soil, it got root rot and died from that and overwatering. I move it to every 21 days and now my current aloe Vera’s are thriving!

Yeah that’s true. I do use it as a guide for my other plants but since I’ve never had this plant before I was sticking to the schedule on the app. I won’t make that mistake again

Improper watering, too much sun, or a mix of the two.

Sounds like it could’ve been potted in a pot too big then it was ready for? Try going easy on the waterings until the roots grow into its pot more

I thought that too, so I repotted it in a smaller pot. And I’ll ease up on the watering too
