just wondering if a grow light being this close to any of my monsteras will cause harm? i read that too much light can hurt a plant but i’ve got it angled up as far as i can without getting zero light to my thai con.

GabbyAs long as the leaf isn’t resting on the light u should be ok. I made that mistake and burned a leaf 😭

Michelle🌼Nah that’s fine. But I definitely recommend placing the grow lights from above. Otherwise you’ll end up with a horizontal growth on all of your plants 🫣

i have a hanging one, just gotta find a mount for it so it’s hanging lower close to the plants instead of high to the ceiling, thanks for the info!

Fern <3Yeah, that looks like a safe distance. But like Michelle 🌼 said, you may want to either get one that shines from above, OR you can rotate the plant about every day or two, two prevent them from leaning forwards the light and away from the wall. It just looks a bit weird.
